We specialize in manufacturing spiral pipes made from 18, 20, 22, 24, and 26 gauge galvanized metal. Our spiral pipes offer several advantages over traditional smooth pipes:
Strength: Our spiral pipes are up to 20% stronger than smooth pipe systems of the same gauge. This enhanced strength is due to the 4-ply spiral lockseam reinforcement.
No Painting Required: Unlike some pipes, our spiral pipes don’t need painting. They are designed to withstand outdoor conditions for years.
Construction Details: Spiral pipes are formed from a coil of prime metal into rigid steel tubing. The interior is smooth, minimizing friction loss, while the grooved seam is entirely on the outside.
Crushing Resistance: Spiral pipes exhibit approximately 2½ times the crushing resistance of longitudinal lockseam or welded pipes.
Specifications:
- Available in diameters ranging from 3 inches to 36 inches.
- All 22 gauge Spiral Pipe measures 1/16 inch less than the noted diameter on the inside (I.D.). For example, a 6-inch diameter pipe has a 5-15/16 inch I.D.
Applications:
- Spiral pipes are commonly used in dust collection systems.
- They find applications in industrial ventilation, spray booth stacking, welding booths, paper trim, and pharmaceutical clean rooms.
Shipping:
- Five-foot lengths up to 16 inches in diameter can be shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground for fast delivery.
- Five-foot lengths of 18-inch diameter and larger will be shipped by common carrier.
- Minimum required purchase amount: 40 linear feet.
Longer Runs:
- For larger projects, we offer spiral pipes in 10-foot lengths, reducing the number of connections needed and streamlining installation.
